Modest Mouse and Pixies just announced a joint tour across North America, supported by Cat Power. The late-summer tour covers multiple locations around the U.S., with additional dates yet to be revealed.
In addition to their other tour dates, Modest Mouse and Pixies will play two shows at McMenamins Edgefield on September 12 and 13. The outdoor venue is a favorite among fans and provides a beautiful setting for live music. With Modest Mouse’s unique blend of indie rock and Pixies’ iconic sound, these shows are a must-see for any music lover in the area.
Apart from this tour, Modest Mouse will also embark on a tour with Weezer in the upcoming spring season. Last year, Pixies and Cat Power released their new albums, the latter being a covers album. Modest Mouse’s latest album, The Golden Casket, was released in 2021.
